As love is a universal language, it's a common thing to find on my travels. I realize that love sees no race, religion, and can be found in any kind of form. I personally don't think that there's one proper definition for love, but here I'm trying to share some of the love definitions for me.
Here's a series of love, captured at different times and places. I hope these pictures bring you warmth, the same way they did to me while taking them.
To communicate, without a word being said. When both parties are in love, I see that verbal communication is not the only way to communicate. They hug, touch, stare, sigh, and create gestures only they understand to deliver messages. It always amazes me how people understand non-verbal languages, as they can be translated into many definitions. A sincere hug can mean bliss, gratitude, sadness, anger, and disappointment. When two parties are in love, I guess they create their own language that no one else's allowed to understand (Melbourne, Australia, 2016).
To care, without expecting anything in return. We demand a lot of things in this life; a paycheck, a returned favor, a simple compliment, a stroke of good luck after a good deed, you name it. But if we love something deeply, we often forget to demand our rewards. We give, give, and give because loving them itself is a reward already. (West Java, Indonesia, 2018).
To feel that nothing else, but this moment, matters anymore. When you love someone, you'll enjoy each other's company so much that sometimes it feels like the clock stops ticking. You won't care about a single thing happening around you, as you two live in a separate timezone from your surroundings. Other than us, everything else passes by in a blur.
As we're always surrounded by Love every day,
the second part of this series might happen in the future ;)
