Fell in love with this place the second i got in. As i entered the door, i felt like living in  the 19th century. I was greeted by lots of dining tables, paintings, and mixed ethnic and colonial decorations.   

 Tugu Kunstkring Paleis was built back in 1914, used as the cultural center of Batavia. Now it is used as a restaurant, gallery, and wedding venue.

 This is the prayer room. 

A very comfortable - full air-conditioned room, definitely will leave you no excuse not to pray. And as you can see there is a 1940 movie poster, Darna (or Dasima)  hanging on the wall.

3. Mon Decor Gallery

I forgot the title of this painting, but i remember in my perspective that it's an insinuation about how teachers are often being disrespected and forgotten. The painting shows the song Hypne Guru written on the chalk board being erased by a student.
