Brown Fox Waffle & Coffee (Written in English)

Today i got a class cancelled at 8 am, so while waiting for the next class at 11 i decided to go to Brown Fox. I've recognized this waffle & coffee shop for awhile, but never had the time to come by. I recognized it not because its huge building  (in fact the place is really small), but because its orange sign shaped like a fox.

This is how the cafe looks like from the outside, and yes it's pretty small so you may not recognize it. The exterior somehow reminds me of Komunal, a coffee shop located in Kemang Raya.

Obviously they sell waffles and i think that they're very creative in creating the menu variances. Unfortunately i wasn't anywhere near my waffle mood so i decided to order a much heavier dish, the chicken curry, so i don't have to eat again later in the afternoon. And since i've had my coffee, i ordered fresh milk with butterscotch syrup for the beverage. 

Visually the chicken curry looks appetizing even though i wasn't even hungry at all. The chicken katsu was cooked perfectly and it has the right amount of thickness. For the curry i don't think there's anything special to mention, it was just as expected, but maybe a little bit too runny (i don't blame them for this since their speciality are the waffles). The butterscotch milk tastes really good but there's nothing special from it since everyone can make it at home simply by adding butterscotch-flavored syrup to a glass of fresh milk.

The place is really cozy except for the fact that i was the only guest at the moment, so i can feel the extra attention the baristas gave me the whole time i was there. They were staring at me all the time that the introvert side of me cried for help :'):'):')

For the price, i think it's very reasonable. A big portion of chicken curry for IDR 48.000 and a cup of butterscotch milk for IDR 28.000.
